RBKE963B - Ethernet Backhaul with AP Mode
Hi Everyone, I've been using Apple's AirPort Wi-Fi system for the past 10 years or so, quite reliably to be honest, but ancient technology by today's standards. I had 4x Airport Extreme Base Sta...

Oh, that is not how I'm setup. My setup follows the 3rd image in this diagram:
Both of my RBS units are connected to my main Xfiniti router/DNS, and my RBR is also connected to the same Xfiniti router/DNS, as shown in diagram #3.
The funny thing is, now that I've connected that back to this configuration, I can't access http://orbilogin.net. It just forwards me to Netgear website. Fo figure!

My main switch to which all these Orbi units are connected to is this:
This switch is then connected to my Xfiniti router/DNS.

Try connecting the RBR directly to the ISP Router, then connect switch behind the RBR, then connect RBS to this switch.

Hi,
Okay, after a few days of troubleshooting, I've basicall yhad to turn off the AP mode on the Orbi router. For whatever reason, my Xfiniti modem - acting as the DHCP server - was causing issues. Maybe I've had too many devices connected (78), who knows.
I've switched the Orbi router from AP Mode -> Router Mode, and then connected the two satellites directly into it.
This appears to have resolved the issue.
