I have not found the installation instructions (yet), but that red/blue blinking thing sound very much like the setup process is hung.

Yeah they say, that they support 2,4 an 5 GHz. But I searched a little bit in the internet and some meant, you should try the IOT WiFi with 2,4 ghz only.
Never had any problems with any devices to connect with my WiFi.The setup instructions do not mention red/blue blinking:
At which step in the setup does it fail?
- Guess at the last step. There i have to choose my WiFi and password. Then it says „sorry a problem occurred, can’t connect to your WiFi.
