Perhaps this has been going on ever since I installed my Orbi system about a year ago, but I just noticed that my computer connects to the main router, which is one floor below and about 20' away ins...
Whether it connects to the satellite or to the router is based on its own roaming protocols.
If you're on windows, you can go in and change its roaming aggressiveness.
