RBR 860 not showing satellites as wired
I have two rbs850 satellites wired to an rbr860 router. All works ok but the Orbi app is telling me they are connected by 5 ghz rather than wire. Tried plugging and unplugging but no change. Any guida...
Thank you - one of the wired satellites is showing up fine. The other is giving wired speeds but showing as connected by 5g daisy chain to other wired satellite. I believe house is weird mostly via Cat 5e but maybe Cat 6 in some places.
Turn OFF the working RBS and see what happens...
IF the one RBS thats showing up as daisy chain, and not wired, most likely a bad ethernet connection between the RBS and RBR, cabling or ethernet jack in home maybe bad.
It's recommended to use all one CAT# lan cable and not mix them.
