RBR350 - hardwiring an external location

Hi, I've got an RBR350 router and two RBS350 satellites. I need to get a connection out to a garage. I can get a satellite to work in the garage, but a speedtest shows anywhere from 50mps to 100mbs (variable). In the house I get 150mbs+.

The satellites don't have an ethernet input cable so I can't hard wire them to the router. Has anyone got any tips for how to get a connection out there, apart from just running a really long cable to one of the ethernet sockets on the router? Thanks.

Not correct.  RBS350 satellites have two gigabit LAN ports, either of which can be used for a wired connection back to the RBS350 router.  What you propose (install Ethernet cable) is the "A Answer" which will give the highest performance.

As long as the distance is less than 90 meters, either Cat5e or Cat6a cable will work great.  (Cat6a is "better" but is considerably harder to work with because of that plastic "spine" down the middle.

Most users would install a PVC conduit (with no "90 degree elbows") and fish the Ethernet cable through the conduit.

Thanks for the solution. I had no idea the ports were 'universal' in that way. Do you know if it's also possible to daisy chain from one RBS350 satellite to another using those Ethernet ports?
