RBR350 triggering house alarm
I recently bought a RBR350 mesh system which it turns out is triggering my house alarm. If I turn off the RBR350s, no problem, with them on, it will trigger the alarm immediately up to within a few m...

Try turning down the power output of the RBRs wifi radios from 100% to 50% and see if this changes anything. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

I've tried moving the router to a spot further away from any sensors, but it still affects the alarm.
I bought the system as Wi-Fi was poor in some of the rooms. These units seem to have much more range each than my previous router did so perhaps there is a way to turn down the signal strength? Any other suggestions?
Otherwise it seems I can choose between security and good Wi-Fi, but not both 😣

Thanks @FURRYe38, I've made the changes to reduce the power output to 50% and will test it out.
My house is around 2000 sq ft and yes, I have the router and satellites about 30 ft apart. Ironically, even with the just the base station router on and both satellites off, the Wi-Fi coverage is significantly better than my previous router, so hopefully reducing the power output works.

What alarm is it?
Did you try changing the wireless channels?

Ok, keep us posted on how it goes and lets go from there.

FURRYe38 I did a short 2-3 hour test today and got home to the house without the alarm having triggered. I'll be leaving it all on during the day now to see. Will let you know!
plemans apologies, I thought I had responded. The alarm system uses wired PIRs. They are about 15+ years old, so perhaps not as up to date as these on RF shielding, but basically the same model https://ness.com.au/106-079 Based on them being wired, I'm assuming changing channels won't make a difference?
