p.s. The router option to "Block Services" is intended (literally) to Block some or all devices on the LAN from specific internet access. By default, the router blocks nothing. Any device can connect to any internet resource using any port that it wants to.
Yes, exactly as I would expect it to behave. I tend not to mess with such things as I've never needed to. But I'm getting to the stage where I'll try anything.
