RBR750 connectivity signal strength

I have ORBI  RB753, router and 2 satellites.  Firmware version v4.6.14.3.

I contacted phone support, and we already factory reset each satellite, and the router and flashed to this most current firmware version.  They suggested I post to this forum.

My issue is two-fold:  1) Devices will not connect to the first satellite.  I can stand right in front of it and my device will not show up in the Orbi app under that satellite.   2)  When I stand next to the second satellite my device does connect, and the dBM while averages very good (~-40), it also bounces around alot (-60 to -20 )while me device is just sitting there.  Notably, the signal strength also fluctuates--80% to 50%, never 100%.  It does this with my device stationary ~2 feet from the satellite.

So, how do I get the 1st satellite to presumably work, and can anyone explain what is going on with the second satellite?

Thanks for the help!

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Some devices will not auto roam or connect to the nearest RBS. You have to disable the devices wifi radio for 5 seconds then turn it back on.

Swap RBS locations with each other to see if the problem follows as well.

Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
    Turn off and unplug modem.
    Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.
