RBR750 Firmware 4.6.14.3 - 2.4G Not Enabled for the Router

I updated my RBR750 router and two RBS750 satellites this week. After the firmware updates, all 2.4G devices connected to either of the satellites. None of the 2.4G devices connected to the router. I had disabled 5G via the router configuration, but 5G remained active for the router. This is unexpected behavior for the router, with no support for 2.4G WiFi in the vicinity of the router. Hope that this will be corrected on a subsequent firmware update?

I am not aware of an option on the RBR750 to disable 5G.  Could you post a screen shot of that?

This is not likely to change because of a future firmware update.  I would look for evidence that the router is not producing a 2.4G WiFi signal by using one of the WiFi Analytics apps that displays the MAC address of each WiFi access point and the signal level of each:

With one router and two satellites, each WiFi SSID should be present three times for each channel, that is:

    • The primary SSID should appear three times.on the same 2.4G WiFi channel.
    • The primary SSID should appear three times on the same 5G WiFi channel.
    • If the Guest network is enabled, the guest SSID should appear three times on the same 2.4G channel.
    • If the Guest network is enabled, the guest SSID should appear three times on that same 5G channel.

WiFi devices not connecting where we humans know damned well they should connect, is one of the most common issues raised on the community forum.

CrimpOn ... You can enable or disable wireless frequencies via the configuration... "Basic", "Wirelss" (Wirelss Settings), "Enable AX..." checkboxes.

With a router and two satellites, there should be three entries for each SSID. 802.11g is 2.4G, but only showing two entries for each SSID, primariy and guest.
