RBR750 Intermittant loss of signal
I have the RBR750 with 2 satellites. I do have 20 or devices connected, including 2 laptops. At times, the laptops, and laptops only, will lose the signal for a minute or two. One of the laptops i...

How are the two satellites connected to the router?
(WiFi backhaul or 'wired' backhaul?)
Is there any sort of Ethernet switch between the router and laptop?
When all else has failed, the last resort is often to perform a Factory Reset on the router. I absolutely hate doing this because it takes me almost two hours to type in all of the configuration settings I have made to reserve IP addresses, give names to each device and change the device type and model numbers, set up OpenVPN, DDNS, etc. etc.
How much effort have you put into customizing the Orbi setup?

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

️What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Smart Parental Controls or Circle, Traffic Meter.
Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s). Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Thanks FURRYe38 and CrimpOn,
I think these are all of the answers to your questions:
xfinity modem (in bridge mode model CGM4331COM
Orbi router RBR750 Firmware - V4.6.14.3_2.3.12
Good quality CAT6 cable
distance is not an issue...wired is 20-25 ft, wireless is 10 ft
Can't see where to check the channels
noise from neighbors is not an issue, plus it's happening on the wired laptop
Armor, Smart Parental Controls or Circle, Traffic Meter all disabled
Windows 11 Home
It always appears that it is connected to the network, no globe appears
Some notice pops up on the screen? NO
Is some process interrupted? (streaming? video conference?) NO
Do web pages not load? they do not load, first I get the dns error, then no internet error

If so, These distnaces are TOO close. 30 feet to start with in distance between the RBR and RBS. Regardless if the RBS are wireless or ethernet connected to the RBR.Can't see where to check the channels< On the RBRs web page under Basic/Wireless Settings

Do web pages not load? they do not load, first I get the dns error, then no internet errorHas a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? A complete pull of the power adapters for a period of time after the factory reset then walk thru the setup wizard and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser. Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.

I would power OFF the ISP modem for 1 minute. Factory reset the Orbi router and power it off. Power ON the ISP modem and let it sync. Then power ON the Orbi router and walk thru the setup wizard again using a wired PC and a web browser.
Press the back reset button for 15 seconds then release.

Do web pages not load? they do not load, first I get the dns error, then no internet errorWith every device except the two laptops not having a problem, there may be value in examining the laptops themselves in more detail. For example:
- Which web browser is affected? (more than one?)
- Does this happen constantly? Only for some particular web sites?
- Can you keep a command window open at the bottom of the screen
And the next time this happens, open the command window and type a couple of commands:
ping ford.com
ping 19.12.113.37
Do both commands succeed? fail? - Can you capture those error messages from the screen?
(On Windows 10, I use the "Snipping Tool" which Windows 11 may have done away with.) - Would you be comfortable changing the DNS servers being used?
- On the Orbi RBR750 web interface, there is a choice of using the DNS recommended by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) or specifying your own. I use CloudFlare and Google DNS (1.1.1.1 and 8,8.8.8)
- On the Windows laptop, there is an option to specify DNS servers in the parameters of the Ethernet adapter.
