RBR750 LAN IP keeps resetting to default
I've configured my RBR750 to hand out IP address in the 10.0.0.x range, and the router IP to be 10.0.0.1. However, after a few recent power outages (I know, I know ... a UPS is on its way from Amazon...

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

The ISP gateway is a Pace/Arris 5268AC. There is an ONT out in the garage, but it's only connections are the fiber in from the street and ethernet to the 5268.
Yes, I have done a factory reset and setup from scratch since the last time the firmware was updated. I'll (hopefully) be updating to the new firmware you linked to over the weekend.
- CrimpOnFeb 11, 2022Guru - Experienced UserIs the Pace required? As in does it provide phone or TV service? If not, I would try connecting the Orbi directly to the Pace.

Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktopI would give #2 a try. Try settting the RBRs IP address to 192.168.0.1 and LAN IP address pool range from 192.168.0.100 thru .200.

I upgraded to the 4.6.7.5 firmware that was linked upthread over the weekend. When I got to the "unplug power" part of the FW update, I plugged my RBR750 into a UPS when I re-plugged. Had to set the Orbi IP address (it had defaulted back to 192.168.1.1 again), this time I tried 192.168.0.1 rather than 10.0.0.1. The RBR750 hasn't rebooted itself since then, so I don't know if the firmware upgrade (or the UPS) fixed the issue, I guess only time will tell.
Re the AT&T gateway/Double NAT - The gateway wifi is disabled, and the Orbi was on the DMZ+ port already (Option #2), but it's nice to have confirmation that I set it up the "least bad" way :)

Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

DMZ will help with Double NAT issues.Mark your thread as solved so others will know if your confident in the fix.
