RBR750 No connection/solid magenta
RBR750 dropped connection at 5:00am today with solid magenta ring. Rebooted multiple times to no avail. Hard line connection to modem from laptop is fine. Satellites show they are fine. Firmware...
- Apr 25, 2022Issue persists with CAT6 cabling.
Found a newer CAT5 in a stash of cables & used it after a factory reset of router & all satellites.
Factory reset & adding satellites back in one by one by using the app AND pressing sync on the router PRIOR to sync on the satellite seems to have solved the issue.

Modem is owned by me:
Motorola MB8611
Connected to Xfinity
Home is 3000sf
~30ft from router to each satellite
Wi-Fi neighbors on each side, weak signals
All devices have been power cycled per these instructions multiple times today.
No connection to internet even when wired directly to router.

What is the CAT# LAN cable between the RBR and ISP modem? CAT6 is recommended.
Pink means the RBR has lost connection with the ISP modem or ISP Modem isn't giving good ethernet connection or services.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

Xfinity says signal to modem is strong.
Speedtest directly from modem is:
578 down / 40 up- FURRYe38Apr 23, 2022Guru - Experienced User
CAT5 only supports connection speeds up to 100Mpbs. I recommend you get a CAT6 STP or UTP lan cable in between the modem and router.
