This looks like a common problem, not happy given how much i've paid... trying to decide whether to return as faulty. Firmware: v4.6.14.3 SSID: unique name. Same name across all bands. Loc...

Hi thanks for replying 🙂
I did have a TP link 5 port gigabit unmanaged switch (TL-SG105S) in between one of the satellites... so i've removed this now. So both satellites are directly connected via Cat6.
Yes wifi private IP/mac is disabled on the iPhones...

Let us know how it goes.
- Charlie53463Jun 09, 2023AspirantOK so I've made all those changes above... And it still disconnects when moving between routers...
For example... My daughter is on a Telegram video call with her granny in the garden (using the garage Orbi) and then moves into the house which should pick up the kitchen router... And the call drops out. The wifi connection drops and even turning wifi off and on again doesn't immediately resolve.- FURRYe38Jun 09, 2023Guru - Experienced User
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
What devices it your daughter using? Brand and model please. Some wifi devices may not have good roaming features or design. If she is stationary near the remote RBS, does the connection maintain and keep connected there?
- Charlie53463Jun 09, 2023AspirantThe distance between the two satellites (kitchen and garage) is about 15m... Is it worth reducing the power %? It's currently set to 100%.
The main router is in the lounge... And they're basically in a line... and probably only a 5m separation between the lounge (main router) and the kitchen one... But there's two brick walls in the way, plus kitchen units.
Phone is Samsung Galaxy s20 FE 5G.
