RBR750 Replacement - What did you move to, and what worked best?

I can't take it anymore.

I am looking for a replacement.

I think I am going away from mesh.  This flip-flop from router to satellite, and  2.4 to 5Ghz... it is not working for me.

I need separate SSIDs and performance.

The disconnects from certain devices is unacceptable.  This technology is universal.. and I should not have to deal with this crap.

I am curious what you switched to from the RBR750.  What made you happy.

Thanks!

Adrian

I've used lots of different systems.

    RBK750, RBK50, RBK43, SXK30

    And router plus extenders,

    RAXE500, RAX200, CAX80 (plus more).

I still end up going back to the mesh systems. Not the RBK750 system but to my SXK30 system that i have setup with a wired backhaul.

the business side tends to be more stable and you can modify more systems.

I usually use a router like the RAXE or RAX200 as the primary and set the mesh up in access point mode for overall coverage.

That way I can have something with peak performance (close to it) but yet cover my whole home and part of the outdoors.

Gets a bit spendy but it works well for me.

I've tried it with just the flagship routers and extenders but you don't have as smooth of roaming.
