Many thanks to all who offered advice.
In the end, I deleted the app and then methodically reconnected the DSL and RBR.
I'm now up and running again (including with the ORBI app).
It was a bit unstable at first (depending on the internet port I selected on the DSL-4320L), but seems to have settled down. I suspect the "double NAT" issue may be at play, but frankly the solution is beyond my technical capabilities - the last thing I want to do is tamper with the DSL settings and not be able to backtrack.
If problems continue, I'll end up having to call in an IT specialist (for what should have been an easy plug in!).

Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
