The Orbi router itself contains a version of Ookla Speed Test.  What does the router itself report for the connection?

Does this reported speed vary depending on whether the Xfinity router is in its normal (router) mode or in bridge mode?

A speed of 90Mbps is a highly suspicious number.  When an Ethernet connection auto negotiates to 100Mbps/Full Duplex, the greatest speed that can be measured is slightly under 100Mbps because of the tiny overhead of Ethernet technology.  It is physically impossible to measure a speed higher than "almost 100".  For example, if the phone had reported 101Mbps, then we know the link between router and Xfinity must be greater than 100Mbps/Full.

The speed that Xfinity and Orbi have negotiated is displayed on the Orbi web interface, Advanced Tab home page when you click the Show Statistics box.  If that box shows the WAN port to be 100Mbps/Full, then this is the problem.

The most common cause is "something is wrong" with the cable path between the Xfinity and Orbi.  Maybe one of the RJ45 plug tiny little "snap" thingies worked loose.  The easiest test is to replace the cable and look closely at the RJ45 jacks to see that those 8 tiny gold wires appear to be lined up correctly.

The only Network security that Netgear offers is Armor, which appears to be already present, i.e.

"setup with 4 satellites, armor and parent control in the mix."
