RBR840 white LED light stays on
Brand new out of the box RBK 842, FW 3.2.8.5_1.2.3
The router RBR840 white LED status light stays on constantly.
i have tried a factory reset restoring to default and white status light stays on.
This light is really bright and annoying. Upgraded from an RBR50 and the status light never stayed on? Netgear support is weak on this product, and they have no clue as to what model this unit is. The system works as expected except the white status light stays on solid.

It sounds like you've done all the right things to try to resolve the issue. At this point, I would try to exchange the device where you bought it or arrange for a replacement from Netgear.
