So it has automatically updated to the latest firmware. I don’t want it to do this, as it flashes white.
Is there any way to stop it doing this? I don’t remember enabling automatic updates anywhere - how do I turn it off

I read these - I didnt' get an answer regarding voiding warranty messing with things like telnet and entering the information. I don't even think its right to expect customers to know how to do this. I dont' feel comfortable doing it.
If I had known that netgear do not offer support for their products, even the most expensive ones in the shop I would not have bought.
It comes with a two year warranty which i'm 8 or so months into - so I'm contemplating just returning this and buying one that has support and has a UI that is easy to use. Anyway, now I know - don't purchase products that are not supported by their own company - it should be more clear on the box.
Not a recommended company or product for 95% of the population that don't work in IT.
