RBR850 Disable SSID Broadcast
Is there a reason Netgear does not give the ability to disable the SSID broadbact on the RBR850 WiFi 6 router?
No reason. I have asked about this. No response. No sure if Orbi AX will ever see this feature. Would be nice. :smileyfrustrated:
It's completely ridiculous that NetGear doesn't allow disabling SSID broadcast on the RBR850. This feature has been around FOREVER across most routers and is a basic network admin security best practice. How on earth can any admin take this mesh system seriously? Simply unforgivable. Whoever the product manager for the RBR850 is really needs to pull their head out of their (ahem).
