What Firmware version is currently loaded?

 

Turn OFF the RBS for a bit. Does RBR accept connections then? 

 

17Feet to too close between the RBR and RBS. 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

    I installed the latest firmware and unplugged the satellite . No dice , no 5ghz connections on the router .

    I also used the airport utility on my iPhone and I do not see any signal with the channel in using for 5ghz.

      Sounds like your RBR maybe faulty and needs replacing.
