You may want to troubleshoot by seeing if you have another ethernet equipped device to plug into that port and see if the issue is in your NIC and not the Orbi. Just because a PC says it is disconnected, doesnt necessarily mean it is the router.
It is also possible that your NIC card is destroying the ports -- perhaps by stray voltage.

Thanks for the reply and tip! I'll check later today and see if it works with another device - I really hope it isn't the NIC destroying ports by any means as you suggest, but I'll soon find out!
