RBR850 flaky DNS problem
Firmware version: V3.2.16.22_1.4.9
I was relatively happy with ORBI until two weeks ago when DNS started to become flaky.
I have all wireless devices use DHCP to get their IP config.
On ORBI I had experimented with Internet Provider DNS, Quad9, Cloudflare DNS, Google DNS - it all didn't help.
Under load with multiple clients (video calls, audio calls, internet) and after some time (half a day) all clients (Phones, Windows, Mac OS computers) start getting DNS errors.
DNS_PROBE_STARTED or equivalent
None of the client remidiation advise had helped:
(e.g.
netsh winsock reset catalog
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
netsh int ip set DNS
)
I'm suspecting that ORBI being the problem here.
Anyone had similar issues and found a solution?

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

Have you considered updating to firmware V3.2.17.12_1.4.14
