RBR850 Max Wi-Fi performance
What’s the maximum Wi-Fi performance I can expect from mobile device? (in this case an iPhone 12).
I have a 1GB link from my ISP which is reflected in the inbuilt Speedtest on the AX.
From my iPhone 12 standing next to router I am getting 620Mbps and next to the satellite it’s 420Mbps.

Max speed can be a bit variable.
The iphone 12 is a 2x2 device that supports 80hz wide channels.
So the best it can connect at for link speed (not the same as throughput) is at 1200mbps.
Actual speeds tend to be 55-65% of what link speed is because of network overhead/efficiency.
And there's variables in the environment like interference, distance, etc that can impact that.
