RBR850 needs a reboot every 2-4 days - how to stop?
I wanted to share with you a problem I have been seeing with my RBR850 installation plus 4 satellites. Periodically, maybe every 2-4 days, the performance in streaming from multiple Apple TV apps (li...

Possible or your wifi environment is getting too saturated with wifi signals having that many RBS online. Remember, these things cover up to a good decent range so the wifi over lap will be out there a ways. So this should allow for more coverage and range using less RBS units. I get great coverage with just two or some times even 1 RBS in a 5000 sq ft home including basement.
Keep the 4th RBS as a backup in case something happens.
Enjoy.:smileywink:

So the Apple TV is the only device to exhibit this problem? If so, you might check with the Mfr as well on this.
When this happens, which orbi unit is the ATV connected too?
What happens if you set 40Mhz only on the RBR.
LAG is enabled on the RBR and CM1200?

No, it happens on all devices as far as I know. It just happened again this morning, and I checked my iPhone it was getting download speeds of 5 Mb per second. I rebooted the router, and the iPhone was getting 200 Mb per second.
Should I consider downgrading my firmware to Version 3.2.16.22? This has happened since I moved into this house, and I actually upgraded to Version 3.2.17.12 when I moved into the house. So I can say it's always happened on this firmware, and it did not happen on the prior version. But that could be circumstantial.
Do you mean I should uncheck "Enable 20/40 MHz Coexistence"? That just affects 2.4GHz, and these devices are all on 5 GHz right? If that's what you want me to try, I'll try that.

Ok thats good to know.
I would disable LAG on the CM and RBR. Apple and power cycle everything OFF for 1 minute then back ON.
Was either a power off of the Orbi system performed after update to v12 or a factory reset and setup from scratch done?
Yes only effects 2.4, something to try however in this case may not do anything.
I'm on v12 have have been for: LAG disable on my CM1200

Power off of the Orbi was done after the update, which was done in early February.
Are you saying:
I would disable LAG on the CM and RBR. Apple and power cycle everything OFF for 1 minute then back ON. AND reactivate LAG
Sorry, what does this mean:
I'm on v12 have have been for: LAG disable on my CM1200
Should I be comparing your stats to mine? Is that on the CM1200 modem? I can't remember seeing anything like that.
Thanks for your help!

Do not enable LAG on either CM or RBR after disabling it.
