RBR850 OpenVPN server version number?

I know of no method to determine what version of OpenVPN is included in Orbi firmware. I have v7.2/6.31 on an Orbi RBR750 which I assume will be similar to the 850. The web interface does not mention the version number and when attempting to query the binary via a serial port connection to the motherboard, it reports that no help information is on the system.  I dumped the binary file and cannot find anything that resembles a version number.

 

Adding a version parameter to the configuration file puts more information in the log file (I used ver 5 --- no leading hyphens).   Lots of information about the Client, but nothing about the server.

 

I the reason for the question is OpenVPN version 3 complaining about unacceptable security on the server, that has been reported before (suggest search for "openvpn").  It was pretty clear that Netgear continues to use OpenVPN version 2 server, which causes version 3 clients to complain.  OpenVPN continues to offer version 2.6.12 on the web site, so that is what I am using.
