RBR850 Router not Connecting to Internet (Please Help)
Hi there - this is my last hope! I've searched tons of forums/tried different solutions and I can't get my Orbi (RBR850) mesh system working after moving into our new home.
Internet Provider: Xfinity Modem: xFi Advanced Gateway (XB7) - provided by Xfinity
I've already gone into the gateway admin tool and enabled bridge mode
I've tried all four ports on the gateway
None of the ports light up when the Orbi is connected to the Xfinity gateway
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to read through and possibly provide some advice!

1. after changing it to bridge mode, power the gateway off for several minutes (and the orbi)
2. with it in bridge mode, only the orbi can be connected to it. No other devices. Xfinity only assigns 1 public ip address and that needs to be assigned to the orbi.

I don't understand the LEDs on the xFi XB7 ports. I have mine up and running right now and the port connected to the Orbi is unlit, but of course it is working else you don't get this post from me! I have the xFi in Router mode at the moment and the xFi port connected to a Netgear 16-port switch is slowly flashing green - flashing, but not as indicator of traffic - it flashes on the beat, so to speak. Why the port with the Orbi connected is unlit, I have no idea, but I have noticed this in the past. In fact, I had been in AP mode for so long with only the Orbi connected to the xFi that I didn't even realize until a few weeks ago that those xFi ports had LEDs on them at all.
So, if you are in AP mode, you may never see an LED on the xFi ports give you any indication of anything.
