RBR850 Satellite Disconnecting Due to Possible DHCP Issues
I have an RBR850 with one hardwired satellite. After running flawlessly for the first year, sometime in the last few months I started having trouble with WiFi devices disconnecting for a few minutes ...

The satellite connects directly to the router, without a switch. However, the old cable was CAT 5e. Turns out, it was also from the same roll used for a different run that also caused trouble a while back.
I replaced it with a new CAT 6 run, switched back to the wired backhaul, and everything is running smoothly. It hadn't occurred to me that the cable might be at fault, especially as it had worked for quite some time. Thanks for the helping in tracking this down.

So I tried disconnecting the ethernet and using wireless backhaul instead. After five days the problem hasn't recurred, suggesting it is indeed a problem with the cable. I haven't tracked that down yet, but in the meantime, it's working reliably again. Thanks!

Is the RBS directly connected to the RBR or is there a LAN switch in between?
What CAT# cable are you using? CAT6 is recommended.
