RBR850 unable to change LAN setup

Context:
Router: RBR850

Firmware: V4.6.14.3_2.3.12

Satellites: 2

Satellite type: RBS850
Router mode: router

DHCP: On

Model: RBK852

 

Problem: unable to save any changes on the web admin LAN setup page, e.g. DHCP ending IP address, reserved IP addresses

Results:

400 Bad Request
This server does not support the operation requested by your client.


Searched: "cannot set fixed IP address" "set fixed IP address server error 400 Bad Request" and read through all the posts

Tried:
* FF & Edge
* all suggestions and resolutions in search results; no joy
* reboot router
* reserved device name less than 20 characters

* reserved device name no non-alphanumeric characters, e.g. -
* no reserved IP addresses, only change DHCP ending IP address

 

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Be sure to clear out all browser caches before entering the routers web page.

     

    Try a factory reset and setup from scratch. Don't load any saved config file from back up.
