RBR850 Unable to Obtain IP Address after rebooting Obri - unable to reconnect to SSID after restart

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended. 

Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box. 
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem if your using a cable modem. 
Start with removing any amplifiers, signal attenuators, or splitters from the coax.
From there check the line for kinks, damage, moisture in the line.
Check the connectors for improperly made ends, foil touching the copper coax line, loose connections, bad/old/cheap connectors, or corroded connections. Replace them if you do.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

️What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Hello,

 

I was having some trouble with my download speeds through my provider, so I decided to reboot everything. I powered everything off, powered my modem back on and waited for it to come up, powered my router back on and wait until it was back and then powered my satellite back on.  After doing this, several devices (Samsung phone, several iPhones) were unable to connect to the production SSID.  They would either get a generic error, or an "unable to obtain IP address" error.  Also, my hardwired (to the router) PS5 was also unable to obtain an IP address.  The phones that were experiencing the error where able to connect to my guest network without a problem but were not able to connect to their original SSID.  This seemed to be the case for several of the smart devices throughout the house.  After some research I decided to try a factory reset of the router.  This went as expected.  I created the same SSID as before, along with the same guest SSID and the result was the same ... several devices were still until to connect to their original SSID.  I did another factory reset, created a new production SSID and the devices that were having the issue were able to connect without a problem.  I renamed the prod SSID back to the original name and the devices were not able to connect.  The PS5 eventually reconnected after several hours and no interaction by me, but several wireless devices are still unable to connect to the original SSID.

 

Has anyone else experienced this after a simple reboot of the router?  Are there configuration setting tied to my Netgear account that are possibly being remembered by the router?  It seems like the router is remembering something about these devices (an old IP, client entry, something).  Not sure where to go from here.
