RBR850 update firmware now can’t detect internet

I updated the firmware to 3.2.16.6_1.4.4 Friday evening through the iPhone app. When the system came up, I could connect to the WiFi system however there was no router connection to the internet. I reset the router to factory default and still no internet. Called internet provider internet ok. Attached old router and I have internet. So there is internet available Orbi can’t detect it. What can I do?

    What modem is it? 

    Try powering off the modem and router. 

    power the modem on with nothing but coax connected to it. give it several minutes. 

    Then connect the router to the modem and power it on. give it several minutes.
