RBR850 with RBSE960

My main ORBI router is the 850 model with another 850 Satellite. I have another Satellite RBSE960 and I was able to connect it to the main router as another Satellite. I'm able to connect to it and...

    From what I know, NG hasn't tested compatibility between the Orbi AX series and from what they posted on there support page in regards to this seems to make it NG intended support that they are not compatible. So users may or may not get RBS fully working between the models. 

     

    FW versions is far appart as well so would be another factor as well. 

     

    You may want to return the 9 series and find a 7 or 8 series RBS that is compatible.
