RBR850/RBS850: Satellite wants to back-rev firmware (V4.6.3.16_2.0.51)
Hi folks, I've updated to the latest firmware V4.6.3.16_2.0.51 however the satellite wants to back-rev itself to v3.2.18.1 (see screenshot). I'm not going to allow it to go backward, but wanted to point out this anomaly in case someone else is experiencing it. —Michael

Hi mregoli
Welcome to NETGEAR Community!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Let me check this with the product team.
Have you tried using different browser and/or device in accessing the router WEB UI? If so, do you see the same result?
To those who experience the same behavior, please hit "Ditto This" button on the Original post.
Regards,
Blanca

No, I didn't try a different browser—how would that make any difference? I'm willing to do so, but it will need to be later today. Thanks for the tip! I'll report back. —michael

Well a different browser showed a different result than the original posting (where I used Firefox). Chrome on my Mac reports both base and satellite running the same firmware version (4.3.16). But so does Firefox (v92) now—what I used originally—with no update pending. This is very weird but I'll keep an eye on it! —michael
