RBR852 - App started showing an additional satellite??
I am reposting this here as I have had zero input in the Orbi app forum, wondering if anyone else has noticed this..... This is a recent issue, the Orbi app is showing an additional satellite that ...
- Finally solved the mystery satellite issue in my Orbi app. Had time to do a complete factory reset and set everything back up from scratch. I believe my back up config file imported something corrupt and caused the issue of the "satellite-2" showing that was never there.

Glad the reset helped. Thanks for letting us know. I know with mine, I think I might have left one of my RBS ACs on line when I turned on my Orbi AX system. Removing it from the RBRs web page fixed the Orbi app for me.

- Each time I did I reset I would use my back up config file to avoid having to reset all my settings... This time I did it manually (pain in the a$#) but all seems well now đ
Make a NEW backup file. Ya, odd that something happend with yours even though you don't have an Orbi AC system.
One reason why I recommend making new backup configurations to file at each FW release. :smileywink:
- That's what had me puzzled, the config file was from the most recent firmware. I deleted the old file and saved a fresh one from this last set up from scratch. Still, so far so good....
What browser do you use to manage and save the config file?
- All done on my Android mobile using mobile Chrome.
You may want to use a wire/wireless PC and a different brower. IE11, FireFox or Opera to save off backup configurations. Possible the mobile device and or Chrome could be introducing problems.
- I still show extra satellite showing. This is my first Orbi so I didnât use a backup.
Does it appear in the RBRs web page under connected devices?
