RBR960 - Guest signal transmitting even if disabled
I have been watching my RBR960 network with a Mac-based WiFi Analyzer, and I noticed that there are Guest signals being transmitted even though I have the GUest network turned off:
Is there anything more that can be done to stop this?
Interesting - I enabled the Guest network, changed the name from the default NETGEAR-Guest, verified I saw the name change in the WiFi analyzer, then I disabled the GUest network again. It's no longer active now! Sounds like a bug that happened on startup or something, forgot to turn off the radio for GUest - enabling and disabling then did it.
Solved!
