RBRE960 1GB Ports Power Cycling?
Hey all, just set up the RBRE960 router and two RBSE960 satellites. Initial stability was a little touch and go, but it seems to have calmed down and now it's pretty stable. I have my Orbi set up i...

Well, I was finally able to test this again. Disconnected all cables and then connected the Orbi 1GB router ports to my Netgear GS108v4 unmanaged switch. Tried all Orbi 1GB router ports and all 8 unmanaged switch ports, and I cannot duplicate the strange behavior from before. Now the two devices connect at 1GB speed and stay connected with the activity lights blinking constantly as expected. Not sure why it's different now, but I'm glad that it's now acting the way it's supposed to. Thank you for testing this setup, that took some effort and it's much appreciated.

Ok so with same processes as before, RBS wirelessly synced to the RBR, I connected one RBS to the GS-108v3 switch, at a time. Both synced correctly while in router mode. After testing router mode, I disconnected the RBS and let them re-sync wirelessly, then change the RBR to AP mode. After the RBR and RBS were fully in AP mode and synced, took a good 3 minutes, I connected the RBS again to the GS-108v3 switch one at a time. Both fully synced and reported "Wired" status on the RBRs web page.
GS-108v3 switch LEDs remained ON or blinking thru the entire test process as I'm now back in router mode from AP Mode leaving the RBS ethernet connected during the change back to router mode from AP mode and now typing this post.
