Hello Ekkoh,
Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!
I understand that you are having issues with your iOS devices receiving IP addresses using DHCP. This can be caused by security measures that have been implemented by Apple over the recent years. Please turn off your private IP address on your iOS device then verify that the device is able to get network connectivity. I suggest starting with your iPhone, if this is indeed the issue then you will need to turn it off on all your iOS devices.
To turn off the Private IP address please follow the directions listed below:
Open "Settings"
"Wi-Fi"
Select the "i" icon next to your connected network
Toggle off "Private Wi-Fi Address"
Best,
Kevin

Hi,
thanks!
The device that I have most issue with is my Apple TV, latest version and updated firmware. ATV doesn’t have any private IP-address. But will for sure test on my iOS devices.

Any progress on this?
What iOS version is on the ATV?

Ok thanks for the update and details. If this seems to be the fix, Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

When I finally thought things had started to work properly, we’re back to square one. Today the iPhone has lost its IP address several times, and the Apple TV as well. This happened after I had a power outage.
I logged in to check the status of the satellites and noticed something very strange. One of the satellites that is connected by cable is connecting to the router via Wi-Fi instead of the cable. - FURRYe38Dec 05, 2025Guru - Experienced User
I would check the wiring in between this one RBS and the RBR. Possible some odd issues in wireing. If the RBS was connected wired and something happened, the RBS will fall back to wireless connection to continue to provide service for devices.
Both of my RBS are stil ethernet connected.
Also have a new iphone 17 in house so I'll be joining the forray of enjoyment with newer generation phones. Oh yay.

I had to leave the house for a while so I couldn’t continue troubleshooting. But when I got back and checked again, the satellite had suddenly switched over to a wired connection without me changing anything. So there definitely seems to be something strange going on with my system.
will have my iPhone 17 on Monday.

Ok, Ya, seems like something on that wired line maybe causing problems. That line will need to be checked.
Yay. Mine arrived yesterday.
