RBRE960 Sony TV (Android TV OS) intermittent connect and disconnect
Since installing firmware V7.2.6.31_5.0.24 my Sony Bravia XR 55A95L "loops" connecting and disconnecting via WiFi. It was working fine before the update. The TV will connect successfully to the bas...

Can you try turning OFF one RBS?
Size of home, maybe too much having two RBS deployed.
Also 15 feet is a bit too close between the RBR and the one RBS. 30 feet starting distance.
Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router.

I will answer your questions but first note that my connection to the TV was working fine until the update. So, I'm not sure how some of your questions are pertinent. But...
How many RBS are deployed? base router and 2 RBS
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft? 2 floors. about 2300 Sq Ft. Base is essentially placed middle of top (main) floor. One BRS is in middle of lower floor. One is in the garage (same level as top floor).
What is the distance between the router
and satellite(s)
️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR
and RBS
The garage RBS is about 35 feet from RBR. The lower floor RBR is about 15 feet.
The TV is about 13 ft from the RBR with only one wall between them. When the TV connects it connects to the RBR and never attempts to connect either of the RBS units.
️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF? I have not tried this. Why would this have effected the connection when the firmware was upgraded?
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices? The Sony TV is the only effected device. All other wired or wireless devices are working fine.
What channel configurations are currently set on the router?
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update? No, but note from original post that the TV connects to the base Xfinity router(and modem) without issue.
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? No. But as note previously I have done a power off and on sequence.

Yes, I did know better that I should not have had two routers working but since Xfinity was working this way I didn't bother with setting up bridge mode and it had a minor advantage I won't go into. But, I decided you were probably correct and I switch the Xfinity gateway to bridge mode. That fixed the TV issue. I think I also know why it was working before. I think there may have also been an update to the TV firmware. I dug deeper and have a reasonable explanation for why it caused the issue. Anyway it works now. Now I only need to deal with the minor issues caused in my network setup where I was taking advantage of the extra WiFi router. Thanks for everybodies expert help.

Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
