RBS 850 Satellite Ethernet Issue
My Orbi RBS 850 would connect to my computer fine with Ethernet but the most recent firmware update seems to have caused an issue. When I plug an ethernet cord into my Satellite it loses connection to the router and the lights turn pink after troubleshooting it goes away if I unplug the Ethernet cord and reset the system but as soon as I plug the Ethernet cord back into the satellite it disconnects from the router again and cannot reconnect until I redo the process again. I've downloaded the newest ethernet drivers in a hope that my PC was the issue but it had no effect.

Is there another device available that can connect with Ethernet to the satellite? (Ethernet appears to be going the way of CD players in laptops.... i.e. "gone") Assuming that there is not, another method is to purchase an Etherenet to USB adapter to use instead of the built-in Ethernet adapter. They are available on Amazon for under $20US. (There's even a USB 2.0 one for under $10.) I got an adapter with a USB C connector to use with Android tablet and a Chromebook which both have USB C ports instead of the more common USB A.
Assuming that a different Ethernet cable has been tried?
- BMOTTVAspirantYes, I got a laptop to run ethernet from the same extender I've now honed it down to my computer but I still have no explanation. Why on earth would plugging in my computer to my router cause the router to turn off? And why my computer specifically I have no idea. I've reinstalled all network drivers, reset my bios and switched between 10 different cords and it still has the same result. I may not have added in the first post but the extender also turns pink and cannot reconnect the the main router and satellite until I unplug my PC from it's ethernet ports.
