RBS40 comparability with RBK852

I recently purchased the Orbi AX6000 RBR850 and one RBS850. This system is replacing my AC2200 RBR40 and two RBS40. Is it possible to use the two RBS40 satellites with the RBR850? If not, would it be possible to use both systems in the house with most of the minimal bandwidth household items like smart thermostat, security system etc. on one network name with the RBK43 system and just use my computers and Apple TVs on the RBK852 system? Would the two router systems be competing? Would I be able to control both systems through my phone app? Thank you!

    Wired yes, wireless no. RBS from orbi AC are not comaptible with Orbi AX Systems.

      Thank you. Do you know if the 2 systems would compete if I set them both up as separate systems?

        Can yes. Distanct between the units and channels used would be a factory. More distance between each unit would be recommended. You would have to set one system on manual channel 1 and 36 and the other system on channel 11 and 48 to help keep most interferences from happening between the two systems. I would probbly also reduce the power output of 1 system from 100% to say 50% as well. I would not use same SSID name and PW on both systems. Should be different. Overall, you may see some problems...
