RBS750 intermittent light colors and backhaul connection
I have a RBR750 and RBS750 that I am trying to redeploy in AP mode. The RBR750 is working fine (wifi and ethernet ports) but I can't get the RBS750 to be stable. It is typically showing a magenta f...

That would be a cause. Glad you figured it out.
Yes since the RBR has it's own firewall and would be on a different sub net.
DMZ is to help with a double NAT condition when having two routers on the same line. DMZ just allows all traffic thru the 1st router to pass thru to the 2nd router. And since the 2nd router has a firewall, this allows two routers to be on same line while functioning independently.

Firmware is 4.6.14.3
RBR750 is connected to Unify Dream Router using ethernet in AP mode. (RBR750 is working fine).
I have good cables all around (Cat 6 and 5e. Have checked all with tester.)
RBR750 and RBS750 are currently directly connected via ethernet (no switch) with about 10 feet of cable.

And both have PINK front LED?
Does the RBS appear correctly in the RBRs web page under Connected Devices?
- jwstJul 26, 2023AspirantOnly the RBS has magenta light. RBR light is off. RBS appears ‘correctly’ as Connected Device but changes back and forth between Status = Good / Disconnected. However, even when showing as good the RBS light remains magenta.

So disconnect the RBR from the host router and configured router mode on the RBR, leave the RBS ethernet connected to the RBR. When the RBR gets to router mode, does the RBS remain PINK or go BLUE then OFF?
FW version the same on the RBS as the RBR?
- jwstJul 26, 2023Aspirant
yes, firmware version is the same on RBS.
ok, left the RBS connected via ethernet to RBR (lan ports). disconnected the RBR from WAN and put into Router mode (not AP). After RBR rebooted, the RBS went to Blue then off. Seems to be staying that way.
Do I leave the RBR in router mode and plug the WAN cable back in or change to AP mode?
