RBS750 satellite with RBS850 mesh network

Question

I have an RBS850 router with one satellite currently set up, but somehow I still have an area where the internet connectivity is poor. I plan on running an ethernet cable wired from the the RBS850 router to the room where the wifi signal is bad. I would like to keep the same SSID throughout and keep it as a mesh network. Could I add an RBS750 satellite in that room with connected to the ethernet cable? Would the 750 satellite be compatible when combined with my setup?&nbsp;

Yes. Be sure the FW on the new RBS is same version is whats on the RBR.&nbsp;

Do you mean the firmware should be the same on the RBS750 satellite as the RBS850 router? Will adding this satellite diminish the speed of the overall mesh network? As it’s not from the same line.

Yes. Same FW version as whats on the RBR.&nbsp;
SHould only see a difference in connection rates on the wifi front haul connection rates on the 7 series as they differ some from the 8 series.&nbsp;
