Does the 2nd new RBS connect via ethernet to the back of the RBR and get a IP address from the RBR? Turn off the other working RBS.

I'd ask NG to have them update the RBS first to same version that you have so that when it arrives, it should connect with out any issues.

Apparently not an option according to NETGEAR Support as the Satellite cannot be upgraded without the Router. Very lame excuse as far as I am concerned.

There's a world of difference between entering a shipping order, "Send one refurbished RBS850 to this address." and "get someone in the warehouse who knows about computers to pull a satellite out of the box - oh, and get out a router, too - hook them up to a computer, update the firmware, then box them back up again, etc. etc." I realize it is Premium Support, but... really?
