RBS850 Missing Connected Device
I just upgraded my RBR50 to RBR850. The setup was easy but in connected devices, I couldn't see any of the PC that's connected the my Satellite (RBS850). It only happened to wired PCs only. The PC...

I did try both with app and web, the number of devices in web matched the number of devices in app.
i.e. I still don't see the 2 "wired" PC in connected Device.
The reason why I need to see them is because I want to give them "reserve" IP so that I can port forward easily.
What I don't understand is that if both PC got an IP from the router, how come the router don't see the PC.
And seems that it only happened to wired PC as if I use WIFI on the same PC and disable the NIC, I can see the PC in connected device in both place.

If these are Windows PCs, open a command window and type the command
ipconfig
This will display information about each of the network adapters, including the IPv4 address.needed for the LAN Setup table.
ipconfig /all will display much more information, including the hardware MAC address which is also required for the LAN Setup table.
Knowing the IP address, there is no device in the Attached Devices display with that IP address?

I didn't use IP Config, but I click the Network in Control Panel and I was able to found the machine name, MAC and IP from Windows and I was able to reserve the IP by typing them in manually.
One thing strange is that for 1 of the PC, when I entered the IP, it did try to auto complete it for me for the MAC and Computer name. where as the other PC didn't but neither of the PC can be displayed in attached/connected device table.
Again unless I use WIFI... as for OS, one PC is with Window 11 and one with Windows 10.

Well crap. I have not helped at all. Guess you have two options:
- Pick at this scab until you get an answer. (search the forum for one term after another until a post comes up about 850 and ethernet devices not appearing, post more questions, Pay Gear Head to talk to you, etc.) or
- Now that the PC's are in the LAN Reservation table, move on to Port Forwarding.
My practice is to:- Confirm that the service responds to connections from the LAN first.
- Confirm that the Windows Firewall will accept connections for that service from foreign networks
- Check with Gibson Shields Up! that the ports appear to be open.
- Debug with the actual Public IP address before setting up Dynamic DNS.
Good Luck

Thanks, you did help a lot already. It's not blocking me from doing what I want to do but I do want to see the full list of what devices receive an IP from my router (i.e. right now there are gaps and luckily I know where those gaps belongs to, in case of suspicious activities).
