Thanks so much for your reply. I tried to connect directly from the Frontier Optical Network Terminal (ONT) where the fiber internet enters my home to power the fiber network, into the switch, but I don’t get an internet connection. Do I need to have a modem in between? Can I accomplish this myself or do I need to engage Frontier tech support? Thanks again
ONT --> Orbi router --> switch --> satellite & other devices.
The switch cannot connect directly to the ONT.

Spectrum does not require users to log into their network. (They use DHCP protocol.) I do not know about Frontier fiber. This might be a good time to call Frontier technical support and ask, "how do I connect my WiFi router to your service?"
