Placing a satellite in the garage and can with stand the heat if garage get hot

    May not be recommended as heat can damage internal electronics over time.

    How hot is "hot"?  Page 157 of the User Manual lists the environmental conditions:

     

    I have an RBS40V that it mounted 8ft. up in my garage and has lived through two summers that reached over 105 degrees.  It also depends on why there is a satellite in the garage.  i.e. is this to service only non-mobile devices?

     

    If the heat does kill it, you'll be out the cost of (a) whatever the RBSE960 is selling for next summer ($600 on Amazon today), (b) some device that fulfills the basic need at a lower cost, or (c) maybe you'll feel the itch to upgrade to the "latest and greatest".
