RDS750 Backhaul over Ethernet doesn't work with switch?
Hello, I've been attempting to connect 2x RDS750 to 1x RDR750 via Ethernet. The satellites work fine via wireless sync, but I need to connect a 3rd satellite in a carport which is too far for wirel...

After waaaaaaay too much digging and expermenting, the whole problem is caused because the RDR750 connection must be moved from WAN to LAN. If you look closely at the back of the router there is a little 'Link Aggregration' label. This should be specifically called out in the documentation.
Unplug power. Change RJ45 from Internet to port1. Wait for 1min (not sure why, but was recommended). Plug in power.
I was running around pressing sync buttons over and over, but I don't think it was necessary to already existing satellites.
Jeeeeeeeeze. But it is working.

Is it possible the whole problem is that the Orbi interface shows the satellite as down or non-existent when connected to an Ethernet backhaul?
I'm definately on the satellite now with full signal strength using the same WPA3 settings. The LED on the RDS750 was blue. But the app and the website shows that the satellites do not exist.
Would really like to hear if this is what others see...
Thanks

Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
