Thanks! I found a tip on another thread about this. It suggested to connect a laptop or desktop directly via a LAN port on the CBR750 and test the speed through the Speednet app. I used the Windows download of it. The speed was accurate. No significant drop. I'm not too concerned anymore about the inaccurate number through the Orbi app or the onboard web interface.
Have still reached out to the forum moderators for the Beta bc the CBR750 has been rebooting on its own several times a day now.
