Latest firmware drops VOIP and MS TEAMS and Skype
We need the ability to downgrade firmware without the orbi auto update. I am unable to work with all these drops. Every time they issue an upgrade they blow something out of the water. I know of no w...

Have experienced the exact same issue after auto update. Trying now to revert to old firmware.
Thanks for bringing it to Netgears attention.

My issues are resolved back on the previous version. NG will do this to us over and over. This has been my experience since installing orbi ax. We need a flag to tell the NETGEAR router not to auto update. You can never trust what they are giving you. In this moment of crisis in the USA with all of us working from home the last thing we need is to have them push new software again and have to go to round 2,3,4, x with them again.

Unfortunately this has come too late. I had to completely remove my Orbi AX routers and satellites and start using the slower but functioning previous wifi router. I did go so far as downgrading to the previous firmware and still experienced the problems so I invested quite a bit of time to try and stick with this expensive purchase but eventually had to cut my losses and put my old router back in.
Very disappointed.

Haven't had the time nor energy to downgrade put them back up so still on RBK50. Netgear better fix this asap. It's not cheap (non-working) routers they're selling us!

Did you try a down grade on v3.2.9.2 then re-upgrade to v10.11?
Others are reporting better operation since NG seem to fix issues on there end.

So after downgrading to the previous firmware and having the same problems, I went back to the V10.11 and did a factory reset as was suggested by FURRY and it's been solid (gaming, netflix streaming, successful Skype for Business test etc.) for the past 6 hours. I really need this to hold so I can continue working from home so PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE don't change the firmware again until we get out this crazy health crisis - unless of course it needs to be updated for others (please be sure to test the sh#t out of it though) who may be experiencing problems that I'm not. I don't need any new features - just rock solid fast internet...
I'm also fully aware that all of my optimism could blow up at any time since it's only been 6 hours.
Thanks though for doing whatever was done to make it work (so far).

- Retired_MemberApr 09, 2020How do I downgrade to resolve problems listed above? Need step by step. MS Teams video conf keeps crashing when using TEAMS for Mac.

What FW version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Did you review the prior post about downgrading to a lower version then back to v10.11?

Does this crash only happen on Mac?
Try different PC or Windows PC to see if same thing happens?
Did this happen before?
Does this happen on a wired and wireless connection?
You should look at the Mac logs or app logs and contact MS support for help and information regarding there app crashing.
