Ya I know, I wish NG would have made all LAN Ports 2.5Gb. One of these days would be nice to have ALL LAN Ports upgraded beyond 1000Mpbs.
I havn't checked into 2.5Gb switches, last time I did they were still kinda spendy. The one 2.5Ghz PCI hard I bought was $75, was not cheap.
I bought a NETGEAR MS510TX for $150 off of Newegg a couple of years ago. I have deployed multiple of them, including the brand new MS510TXM, without any issues. Both switches are multi-gig capable rather cheap if bought on sell. I just bought a few of the newer MS510TXM models for $300 each about 4 weeks ago. Considering these switches are Smart Pro is a plus as well. The newer ones can also be Insight managed, but I digress.
