Re: New - Orbi RBR/RBS 850/860 and 960 series Firmware Version 7.2.7.15 Released

Seriously? I need to pay Netgear to inform Netgear THEY messed up?
I posted on social media in a few places. If I don't hear back within a week, am escalating legally next.
This is unacceptable - a company remotely breaking a product you paid for, that was working fine, then asking you to PAY money to ask them to fix THEIR OWN mistake.
Maybe setting a court precedent will force companies like Netgear to take tickets for free, as well as make it (a lot) easier to downgrade firmware.

p.s. Netgear software engineers do not participate in the Community Forum. The only Netgear employees in any way connected to the forum are tasked with maintaining the forum mechanism itself. None of us have any idea when (or if) Netgear will find solutions to specific problems. In the case of the RBR50 that I use, the answer is clearly "never". It is "good enough" to keep using, but the features that are broken will remain broken forever.
